Why indeed?

Why are there so many problems?
Problems on a personal level.
Problems on a social and political level.
Problems between countries, religions…
The problems seem to be endless.

Of course, people are not perfect.
They can easily be influenced.
Both by good and by bad ideas.
They often have little to hang on to.
They run from A to Z and back.
They often pay a lot of attention to
things that are superficial or superfluous.

Everybody is looking for happiness.
Yet, many look for it in the wrong places
or in ever new material goods.
Some even hurt other people
to try and find temporary happiness.

Only Peace can help people
to take the right decisions.
Peace functions as a kind of compass
and shows us the right direction.

People then see that materialism and money
can never lead to deep, genuine happiness.
Only peace, love and friendship can achieve it.

Why is there so much confusion in this world?
Why not promote universal values
across all frontiers and for everyone wherever.
There would be more peace, love and friendship
and it would make all problems disappear…
